1920-1930 Marklin 402 Antique Convertible Steam Engine Meccano Powerplant Rare
This is one of the rarest steam engines I have owned in Great condition. Convertible Steam Engine Märklin (402), 1919 Can be used either as a horizontal or vertical stationary steam engine, or as a steam tractor. With forward or reverse movement, double-action cylinder, steam whistle and stop tap. Boiler Ø 2 3/4 in.
Flywheel Ø 2 7/8 in. Overall size: 10 1/4 x 5 1/2 x 9 3/5 in. Complete with burner and all fittings. I have the original burner box, smoke stack, original wheels and this steam engine has not been restored. Meaning this is the original as found patina.
The only parts that are missing are the original drive belt. This engine runs on air, all the gears work wonderfully. I have set what I consider a reasonable reserve price. Unless you can convince me otherwise.
