1920's Germany Bing Lithographed Tin Steam Engine Toy Man at Pump Organ Grinder
I will be listing a large quantity of toys over the next few weeks, some from my personal collection. Please watch my other listings for German tin, American tin windups, Japan Tin, and other early toys. This is a very nice tin lithographed steam toy that measures approximately 5 tall. It is unmarked but was made in Germany c. 1920's, I have seen others attributed to BING. It is all lithographed tin and has a pulley on the side that would have been connected to a steam engine. The toy features a man turning the crank on the side of a large pump organ and it makes some plinking music as it turns. The wheel still spins around just fine while the plinking music plays. It still has the original FAO SCHWARZ label on the bottom!

CONDITION: This toy is in nice working condition. There is some light scratching as shown.

It's possible the organ cover top was replaced at one time, I'm not sure.
