Renown brand collectable vertical toy ossicillating steam engine or known as vertical steam donkey engine, by Leonard John Pugh, Barry Ave, Mortdale, Sydney in 1947. The steam for this engine rises from a methylated spirit burner with wick (supplied) when lit inside the boiler. Made apparently from a war surplus 57mm brass shell case, with oscillating cylinder, crankshaft, flywheel, whistle and safety valve attached to the boiler. Paint has started to shift but still looks great.
