Bing Vertical Live Steam Engine Toy 1920s Vulcan Model 130/112
We offer a Bing vertical steam engine with polychrome paint. It stands at 13 high with a 4 ½ base. It includes the original burner and a small funnel. The mechanisms appear to be in working order (aside from the separated steam pipe), though we have not tried to operate it.
Bing was a German toy company in operation from 1863 to 1933. The logo of stylized letters B over W (for "Bing Werke" "Bing Works") dates this engine to the 1920s or early 1930s. Condition: We are not miniature steam engine experts, please refer to the photographs for the condition report. We can provide more photographs if needed and will try to answer any questions. Please note last photo shows that end of steam pipe has separated from the top of the boiler.
