DOLL 364/1 STATIONARY TOY MODEL STEAM ENGINE GREAT CONDITION! One of the classics from German toy steam history. Base: 32cm x 29cm 14-1/4" x 13".

Boiler length: 17cm (8-1/2) Boiler dia: 5.6cm. Height: 35.0cm(7.5).

Flywheel dia: 11.0cm (4). Welcome to Dave's Engine Room! I appreciate the quality of the old Doll engines.

They are a solid example of German master toy making. This engine runs very well, a nd the feedwater pump runs Whit no leaks. The engine is capable of running in either direction, using a right angle groove in the eccentric to shift the pin for the valve linkage. The video you will watch with the engine running under steam did not have the linkage pin situated at the end on the groove, so the ran a bit noisily.

However, the video with he engine running under air, the engine much smoother in the counter clockwise direction. The smokestack you see in the videos was replaced with a newer stack in better condition, and I repainted it in gloss black. Overall, this engine is in terrific working order and good condition for its age. Also, we will take and send photos to detail any part the sender requests. We're happy to help!
