The boiler base (brick section) on the front has a couple small holes forming from heat. There is the usual aging of the metal all around, but some of the original paint and red lines are still there. When we first received this unit, I cleaned it up and oiled all the moving parts and pistons. We filled it up and put fire to it too see if it would still function. It did work, however there was a slight leak around the drain valve, and the whistle will not open/missing handle, and the pressure gauge was stuck in the current position. Everything else worked as it should. The item "Doll Toy Company Live Steam Engine Model 360/4 Dated 1927 Rare! Vintage" is in sale since Tuesday, July 12, 2016.
