Engine model art deco communist era steam engine combustion engine USSR
Hi, this is a very rare and hard to find , super realistic model of four stroke, water cooled engine with movable parts all mounted on wooden base from the communist era. This unique model was given to my father (a former teacher) as a compensation to non paid salaries when his school was closed do to economic restrictions.
It had been manufactured about 1950 -1960. Looks amazing it's perfect for decoration , its a pleasure to touch something in which have been.
Maximal dimensions: about 14 1/2 inches high 8 inches wide. Base : about 9 1/2 inches x 8 inches. Flywheel diameter : about 5 1/2 inches.
It will be a great addiction to any collection, it looks just fantastic (I had some plans to add low rpm electric motor and lightning but never found time for this) Also its just perfect for decoration! The valves can be adjusted the same way as the real ones engines. Very heavy and massive build.The model needs cleaning and polishing as I see and it has some scratches and paint loss and traces of dust. All parts are moving free.
