As fall is here, it is time once again to make some room in the house..... This listing is for an original cast iron antique toy vertical steam engine made by Kenton Toys in Kenton, Ohio. This toy was made at the height of the depression and thus quite rare to find today. This toy measures 8 inches in height and retains approximately 90% of the original green and red paint.

The upright boiler is nickel plated as is the handle. This toy is mechanical and would have had a string/spring in the middle that would operate the gear mechanisms. This would be an easy replacement if you chose. There are no breaks, cracks, repairs or repaint on this rare gem.
