Microcosm M36 Steam Engine for Marine application in Excellent working condition. The self starting 2 cylinder, double acting, oscillating engine comes complete with forward/reverse/speed control gear (for future RC control) and displacement oiler.
The Wilesco boiler is fired up with a butane burner and is equipped with a water level gauge, steam control valve, safety valve, pressure gauge and a steam/oil seperator. The silver soldered Butane canister has a sensitive gas valve and a "Ronson" style refill valve. If preferred the furnace heating system may be altered to a alcohol or even an ESBIT solid fuel burning system. The unit has been placed on a marine style metal base for easy removal once installed to a model boat hull.
This unit has never been installed on a boat and has only been fired up twice for testing. Manufacturers Engine specifications as shown will be included (See photo). Base length 9 inches (230mm) width 3-1/4 inches (82 mm) Total height to top of stack 7 inches (180 mm).
