Odd Antique Electric Steam Engine Motor Flywheel Toy Electro Magnet Vintage. Unusual antique electric steam engine motor. This looks like the typical steam engine however is electric. It uses a brush and a 6 pointed disc to make electrical contact.
There are two electro magnets underneath that act upon the flywheel. The base is cast iron and the motor is heavy.
It appears to be missing the cover from the cylinder however that is purely cosmetic. Might be other things missing but I would not know as I have never seen another.I do not know if it is battery powered or AC powered. There are two wires underneath to hook up to some power source. The flywheel spins easily but does have a little wobble to it. The flywheels measures a hair under 4 inches in diameter and is 1/2 inch thick. The basic dimensions of the motor are 9 1/2 inches long, 3 inches wide, and 5 inches tall.
