The flywheel is about 13/16 x 6 1/4 inches in diameter. Overall this engine has a great look to it! There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of except for a very old repair or "stitch" in one upright as I've pointed out. Everything moves and interacts as it should and this was quite obviously a running engine at some point.
WIth just some minor tinkering it should run again. Early steam engines like this are extremely tough to find and it would be a fine addition to your early steam engine display or collection. The pictures tell the story. You won't be disappointed!
