Rare 1915 Marklin Vertical Live Steam Engine Plus Simplex Air Pump (Gill Mfg.)
This is a very nice rare Marklin vertical live steam engine, manufactured circa 1915 in Germany. It is in very good condition and ran the last time I fired it up about 40 years ago but has not been run since. The steam engine stands approximately 15 1/2 tall. Both the steam engine and the air pump roll smoothly.
The air pump base has surface rust but is completely functional. The air pump is included, and was manufactured by Gill Mfg. And distributed solely by Amizonica Inc. Please see pictures for details.
The steam engine comes with the original measuring cup, funnel and burner. This would make an excellent addition to any steam engine collection.
