Vintage/antique, Horizontal Bing 130/451 (GBN) live steam engine 1909-1917

This is a vintage, antique, Horizontal Bing 130/451 (GBN) live steam engine. It has a GBN emblem on the end of the boiler.

I found another site that said this emblem was used from 1882 to 1902. It has a very interesting reversible system. It uses a lever at the cylinder mount. It has the original measuring cup as well.

The original heat shield on the bottom is intact and in good condition. This engine is in great operational condition, the original whistle and original safety valve both work, I also added a shop made smoke stack and I made a burner tray. The throttle works fine as well. It has a great patina.

I tested this engine and it ran great both forward and reverse. I included a 250ml incremented fill bottle. I also included a partial box of Mamod fuel and a bottle of steam engine oil. I did not mount this engine because it does not have any mounting holes.

Please view all the pictures. What you see is what you get. In order to expedite your order I go to the post office as soon as it opens.

Since they are pre-packed, I cannot combine engines. The post office has lost or destroyed three of my items since February causing me considerable loss.

This comes across as a scam to me. I retired a few years ago and have always enjoyed working in my shop. I have been intrigued with steam engines since I was very young. One of the things on my bucket list was to learn how to operate a metal lathe and mill. When I retired, these two things came together for me and I have been refurbishing toy steam engines ever since. From the time I started till now, I have refurbished several hundred engines. I test every engine before I sell it. I get great pleasure in bringing these guys back to life and knowing that folks are getting a good running steamer. I was a carpenter for many years, so I also make the Cyprus plaques as well. Sometimes I do well, sometimes not. Enjoy your stream engine, Ric Dickens.
