Vintage Horizontal Fleischmann 125-2 live steam engine
This is a vintage, Horizontal Fleischmann 125-2 steam engine. It is in good operational condition. I tested it and it ran great.
It is double acting/reversible with plenty of power. The original safety valve and governor both work fine. It also has the original burner tray and a shop made smoke stack with it. I made a new brass oil access filler cap for it. To get you started, I tossed in a bottle of steam cylinder oil and an eight ounce /250ml incremented fill bottle.
I also added a bag of Hexamine fuel tablets. I found a copy of Fleischmann instructions and included them with some other info. It is mounted on a hand crafted Florida Cyprus plague. I used existing holes to mount it with stainless steel screws. It could use a little clean up.

I can combine small accessories. The post office has lost or destroyed three of my items causing me considerable loss. This comes across as a scam to me. I retired a few years ago and have always enjoyed working in my shop.
I have been intrigued with steam engines since I was very young. One of the things on my bucket list was to learn how to operate a metal lathe and a mill.
When I retired these two things came together for me and I have been refurbishing toy steam engines ever since. From the time I started till now, I have refurbished over seven hundred engines. I test every engine before I sell it.If it does not run right it stays on the work bench until it does. I get great pleasure in bringing these guys back to life and knowing that folks are getting a good running steamer. I was a carpenter for many years, so I make the Cypress plaques as well. I hand rub each plaque with Minwax so it will repel water. Sometimes I do well sometimes not.
