Vintage Horizontal Jensen 75 live steam engine (d) With original Box
This is a vintage, Horizontal Jenson 75 live steam engine, with lever reverse. This engine is in great operational condition. I tested this engine and it ran great, the original whistle, original governor and original safety valve all work fine. I also cleaned and resealed the site glass and cleaned out the boiler as well.
I installed a new band on the governor too. I put a new Jensen burner tray with it. Reverse and throttle control valves both work fine. It has the original smoke stack.
I replaced a section of the steam supply line the old one was split. This one has two drive pulleys. One is 1.18 and the other one is.
It is mounted on a hand crafted Florida Cyprus plague. I mounted it with stainless steel screws. Please view all the pictures. What you see is what you get.
In order to expedite your order I go to the post office as soon as it opens the following day. Since they are pre-packed, I cannot combine engines. Note; Sometimes cypress will get a warp to it as it dries.I dry my lumber in a rack for several months, but this is not always enough. When it changes climates from the high humidity of Florida to an area that is prone to have low humidity it can exacerbate this condition.
