Vintage Horizontal Jensen Model 35 live steam engine
This is a vintage, Jensen Model 35 steam engine. It is in excellent operational condition.
I tested it and it ran great. These engines have a large piston, so they produce more power. The original safety valve and original whistle work fine too. I installed a new sight glass setup and sight glass. The original heavy duty chord is in excellent condition. It has the original smoke stack too. I included a 250ml/8oz incremented fill bottle and a bottle of steam cylinder oil. It is mounted on its original plague. Please view all the pictures. What you see is what you get. In order to expedite your order I go to the post office as soon as it opens. Since they are pre-packed, I cannot combine engines. The post office has lost or destroyed three of my items since February, 2017 causing me considerable loss.This comes across as a scam to me. I retired a few years ago and have always enjoyed working in my shop. I have been intrigued with steam engines since I was very young. One of the things on my bucket list was to learn how to operate a metal lathe and a mill.
When I retired these two things came together for me and I have been refurbishing toy steam engines ever since. From the time I started till now, I have refurbished several hundred engines. I test every engine before I sell it. I get great pleasure in bringing these guys back to life and knowing that folks are getting a good running steamer.
