Vintage model Toy steam engine brass nice one of a kind
It is made primarily of brass. There is some parts that are steel, and a couple of parts are made from aluminum. All parts are working and moving freely. There is compression, I can hear it, and feel it.
I see no makers or manufacturers marks. It could be a kit or a one of a kind made by the original owner.
The big fly wheel measures 4'' diameter. The over all length is 9 1/4'' long. It is mounted on a mahogany board that is 12'' long.
One of the screws, that mounts one of the steam engine legs to the mahogany board. The total weight of the toy and board is 3 pounds 14.4 ounces as pictured.
