ALPS Japan Tin Litho Battery Operated Steam Locomotive Train Working With Orig Box
This is an early 1970s battery operated plastic and tin litho Alps Loco Steam Engine Train from Alps Toys Japan. It comes in its very rare original Japanese box (most came in US/English boxes). Has push button operation on 3 D-Cell batteries. Movement and sounds all work, but front light blub stopped working upon testing. Not sure if it's just a loose wire or needs a new bulb, as this thing appears close to new. Almost no play wear as plastic and litho tin, decals and chrome look new still. Measures 16" long 6" tall 5.75 wide. Besides the top storage crease, original box is still in very good condition for being 50+ years old. See pictures for added condition details.
