Antique Bassett Lowke Tangye Steam Engine Model 781/2 Very Rare British Toy

Very rare Bassett - Lowke model 781/2 (3/4" bore x 1" stroke with 4 1/2 flywheel) Tangye steam engine. Gunmetal engine on a cast iron base. The exterior is in rough condition but it spins over very nicely. There is a broken screw on the cylinder head but the stud came out with ease. The base does have a break in it (see photos).

Through all that rust, there are remnants of the oriiginal paint visible on the base. Please carefully review all photos as they aee part of the description. The last photo is from a 1912 Bassett - Lowke catalog. Please view my other items.
