Early 20thc DOLL + Co GERMANY Stationary LOKOMOBILE Large TOY STEAM ENGINE
Wont find many of these-a great looking, large size toy steam engine made in Germany in the 1920s by Doll + Co.... Stationary Lokomobile steam engine was the largest ever produced-features cast iron base with original paint and pin stripe trim-complete with DC logo decal... Its a 2 cylinder engine with slide valves with nickle plate boilers, trim parts etc and has ladders and a cat walk on exterior.. Back has a pressure gauge, cast iron hinged door and removable pan inside... Condition is very good with no damages or excessive wear-have not tried it so cant say if it runs as intended but based on overall clean condition shouldnt take much to get it going again... Base measures 15 1/2" x 11 1/2" x 7 1/2 h to top of wheel-it weighs 23 pounds... There is a power cord attached to bottom and dont see its purpose-the cord is shot..
