This listing is for an EMPIRE No. 43 Toy Steam Engine Model Electric 20V 350w The Metal Ware Corp Two Rivers Wisconsin Vintage Antique Collectible Toys 1950s in good overall used condition. There's a small dent in the piston side of the steam tank about half way across the top; fits just inside the tip of my index finger. Smoke stack leans to the plug side a bit. Plastic (maybe bakelite) cap is still on the blow off valve, sight tube is good despite having some funk in it, piston, wheel, and all moveable parts are free and in good condition. Needs deep cleaned by someone who knows more about them; I've very carefully cleaned it, but I'm not confident enough to service it - best to leave such things alone! Base is in very nice condition and the paint is pretty good. Steam engine and base show very light paint wear/oxidation. Wood base is not included. Measures roughly 8" x 6" x 6.75 to the top of the smoke stack (base).
