1898 Brass Vertical Steam Engine Mechanical Workshop #8904 German Steam Toy. This is a really interesting ca. 1898 brass vertical steam engine mechanical workshop on wood plinth that was manufactured by. This beautiful vertical Bing steam engine comes with a 1-wick burner and is in original condition.

This workshop is composed of a transmission, 2 revolving benches, 1 drill press, and a grindstone. We did not try to run it; however, it looks ready for action after a proper inspection. It is nailed onto a wooden plinth that sets off the toy with a beautiful backdrop. This piece shows the usual patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, and wear that are to be expected from age and play.
