Hornby R2043 WD Class 8F No. 300 Limited Edition of 500 (Much Ado About Toys)
Hornby R2043 WD Class 8F No. 300 Ltd Ed No 0369 of 500 (Much Ado About Toys). This is an absolutely mint loco in a near mint box for this highly collectible version of this very rare Hornby locomotive produced as a limited edition for my local model shop - Much Ado About Toys, in Stratford Upon Avon - prior to their closure a few years ago. This lovely locomotive is in War Department light grey livery and comes with a limited edition certificate.
It has been test run prior to listing and works really well. This is the Hornby 8F version with the firebox glow. I had five of these locos along with many other related wartime items for my layout, so please look at my other listings, but this is the last of these I have to sell.
