Lionel # 2026, 2-6-4- Steam Locomotive & 6466w Whistle Tender Vintage Toy Trains
LIONEL # 2026, 2-6-4- STEAM LOCOMOTIVE & 2466 WHISTLE TENDER This engine was stored away over forty years ago and was running at the time. It was custom painted as part of a realistic scale layout. Based on comparing it to photos of Lionel engines I believe it to be a #2026 model but can't be sure because the numbers have been painted over. It appears to have all of its parts, is very clean, has no damage and is rust free. I have not tried to run it for fear of causing damage so it is for sale untested.
