Mamod of England Cream Steam Engine Roadster 1319 Nice Condition! LOW RESERVE
This vintage Roadster is a two-seater based on early 20th century cars. The boiler cover forms the bonnet of the car with a sight-glass for checking the water level in the radiator grill. There is a solid brass boiler with nickel plated fire box, diecast spoked wheels with metal fenders. There is a lever on the left side for forward and reverse.
Drive belts are powered by a twin grooved pulley connected to the drive shaft. Both metal belts are intact and in great working condition. Car measures 15 ¼ long x 6 ¼ wide and stands approximately 5 ¼ tall. The wheels have 10 spokes and rubber tires along with a spare wheel, running boards and carriage lamp on each side. The driver side lamp is slightly loose but just needs a quick tightening.
The radiator cap unscrews to put water in boiler and the spring and gasket are in perfect shape.. There is a steel pan type solid fuel burner and fuel pellets that run this car on genuine steam operation that is not included and can be.
No rust on this nice little machine at all! The copper is nicely aged but clean in it's vintage state. Weight is approximately 6 lbs.
