Old antique c. 1900 Steam Engine Early Tractor Model Toy
Offered for your consideration is this authentic antique steam engine model. It measures 6 3/16" wide (outside to outside of the big wheels) x 8 1/4" tall (to top o' stack') x 15 1/2 long. I do not see any names or markings anywhere on the model. It's being offered in'as found' (AS IS), estate fresh condition. It hasn't been cleaned or tampered with in any manner.
I don't know if it's complete. The only thing that I notice that is broken and/or missing is what I would call the throttle control handle (see image).The overall quality and condition is very good. The wheels turn freely, as do the gears, etc. I have provided several digital images that should give you a fairly good idea as to what is being offered and the items overall condition.
In my opinion the images DO NOT do this rare and unique piece of antique'hardware' full justice. It's exactly what you hope and expect to receive I suspect even BETTER!
It's a superb candidate for restoration. It is NOT a cheap and flimsy toy. It's an extremely well made (STOUT) model weighing a HEFTY, no nonsense 12 1/2 lbs.
