Vintage, Horizontal Bing Model 70-120 live steam engine Made in Bavaria

These are very nice smooth running engines. I refurbished this engine top to bottom; I made a new governor base, new belt and I had an older fly ball set in stock. I also made a throttle from brass stock and a brass top for the steam release valve.

I put new steam lines in and made a brass in line oiler for it. I made a new brass safety valve too.

I tested this engine and it ran great. I cleaned and resealed the sight glass as well.

It comes with an old style three port alcohol burner. I added a 250ml/8ounce fill bottle.

In order to expedite your order I go to the post office as soon as it opens. Since they are pre-packed, I cannot combine engines. The post office has lost or destroyed three of my items since February causing me considerable loss. This comes across as a scam to me.

I retired a few years ago and have always enjoyed working in my shop. I have been intrigued with steam engines since I was very young.

One of the things on my bucket list was to learn how to operate a metal lathe and mill. When I retired, these two things came together for me and I have been refurbishing toy steam engines ever since. From the time I started till now, I have refurbished several hundred engines. I test every engine before I sell it.
