Vintage Vertical Weeden Steam Engine -Used with base
It's marked Weeden on the base and due to the condition of it, it's very hard to make out the rest that lies underneath. So I believe this to be one of the styles of the Weeden No. 17 vertical reversable steam engine, made between 1890's and 1933.
Could also be a 661, but perhaps you know more. This engine is missing a couple of pieces, namely the water glass on the side, the burner and the flywheel governor.
Hard to tell if it was the nickel plated or the brass. Has been well used and shows wear, also appears to have some mild rub marks on the boiler body. Stands 9 tall and base is 6 1/4 x 5 1/8.
