WILESCO D 20 WORKING STEAM ENGINE in original box Dampfmaschine This Wilesco D20 was given to my dad in the 1970s. He set it up and used it a handful of times, but it has been in storage since then. By the way, my dad was an adult and a mechanical engineer back then. So no kid ever played with this. See photos for accessories: includes chimney, 3 red accessories, 3 washers, 2 screw knobs, two instruction sheets, partly used box of fuel. CONDITION: This is definitely used, and there are smudges fuel? The glass door to the boiler? But it has been stored safely for 35 years, so all it needs is a little spit and polish.
The box is in one piece but as you can see it has been repaired with tape. These dark brown smudges are slightly raised (like spilled soup burned onto a stove top). I do not know what made them, nor if they can be scoured or polished away. Other than this area under the boiler, the base is very clean.
