ANTIQUE RARE TAILOR SEWING MACHINE TIN STEAM ENGINE ACCESSORY TOY! Welcome to my summer auctions! Those are all original objects and not reproductions of any kind.

The following examples will be a perfect addition to any collection or a museum! Up for sale is an original and extremely rare soldier tailor, or a sewer from the early 1900s. For any years of collecting antique toys, I have meet some tailors steam accessories. But I have never seen a soldier tailor before.

Since it has a letter "M" on a sewing machine legs, I can suggest that this steam accessory toy was made by a famous Marklin company of Germany. Marklin did leave just a letter "M" on some of their early steam engine accessories. One leg of this sewing machine came detached from the base. It woudl need to be re-soldered.

I've rotated the sewing machine wheel and I can see that the tin needs goes up and down. The interesting feature in this particular example is a hidden tin drawer. Another unusual thing is a material that the drawer slider is mad of. It seems like the company re-used one of their tin toys of the other design. That is why the pattern is so different.

Back in the days such re-purposing happened a lot during the companies transitions to new line of toys and when the ownership was changed. Plus, if this toy was made during WII, and this is I can judge by the type of a soldier and his uniform, then the resources were scarce since many metals were placed into production of ammunition for the need of a war. This tin accessory shows some oxidation, wear and signs of use. If you want it to be used with a steam engine, it has to be straightened and likely repaired. It is still a fantastic and rare example of a steam engine toy of the past.

This is a great opportunity for collectors and museums to obtain interesting, rare, and one of a kind examples. All items come from the smoke-free environment. They are originals and not reproductions. I try to describe objects as much as possible, but the best description is a photo. Take a look at the photographs to see the details and judge the condition.

Also, feel free to ask me any questions. If the package is light and small, it goes as Canada Post Small Package. It will cost more and I would have to prepare a different invoice. Such packages will have tracking numbers. ANTIQUE RARE TAILOR SEWING MACHINE TIN STEAM ENGINE ACCESSORY TOY!
